Castle Cliffe East has been lovingly
and sympathetically restored with great attention to
detail. Most of the carpeting and furniture throughout
the house is antique and has been beautifully renovated
or re-upholstered.
On the ground floor:

The sitting room.
This luxurious room has seating for eight, an
open fire and a wonderful view of the river and
park. There is a colour television and video recorder,
and we have also provided a selection of books
and games.

The kitchen.
An old farmhouse kitchen table provides comfortable
dining for 6 people. Eat and talk into the night
in this lovely room with its simple wooden units,
beech work tops and open fire. The room has beautiful
views of the river, and all the amenities you
would expect from a modern kitchen, plus a hi-fi
for tapes, CD's and radio. (For a full inventory, ).

The bathroom.
A quarry-tiled floor and medieval, stone walls
on two sides, makes this an historic place to
relax and soak in the Victorian, roll-top bath.
There is also a modern electric shower and washbasin
with shaver point.
A separate toilet adjacent to
the bathroom has another washbasin and shaver
point.
